Chambercombe Manor is a mosrt unique and intriguing property, steeped in history and legend is montioned in the Doomsday book. From around 1162 Chambercombe was owned by the father of Lady Jane Grey.
Our four cottages offer ideal holiday accommodation for everybody. Set in a secluded valley position in 16 acres of woodlands and 3 acres of gardens, our guests can enjoy the beautiful gardens with large lawn, ponds and flower beds.
There are some stunning walks. Ilfracombe to Lee Bay, Hunters Inn to Woody Bay, along the coast at Mortehoe and many, many more. The Ilfracombe golf course, Hele Bay beach and horse riding are near by. If you stay in one of our cottages you will be able to have a discounted guided tour of the Manor House.

All our cottages have a bath with shower. Electricity and bed linen are included. Cots and highchairs are available. There is a washing machine in Fuchsia, Rose and Hayloft. There are extensive shared gardens and ample parking. A welcome hamper service is available if required. Short breaks available all year round.

Leave the M5 motorway at junction 27 and follow the A361 to Barnstaple, through Braunton to Ilfracombe. Pass through Ilfracombe town centre until you see the Thatch Pub on your right, turn right here and follow the brown signs saying Chambercombe Manor.
