The Collingdale in Ilfracombe is an award winning four star Victorian guest house, beautifully situated directly on the South West coastal path, with stunning views across the harbour and magnificent cliff top scenery of Hillsborough Nature Reserve. Just a few minutes walk to the beautiful historic harbour with its excellent selection of restaurants, shops, cafés and galleries and the ferry to Lundy Island. The town centre, Landmark Theatre and famous Tunnels Beaches are also within easy walking distance.

All bedrooms are furnished to a high specification throughout with many thoughtful little extras. There is a cosy licensed bar and an elegant dining room serving freshly prepared home-cooked cuisine, using fresh local Devon produce as available. Relax on the sun terrace over-looking the harbour where you can enjoy your morning coffee or an aperitif in the evening

Road Directions

From Tourist Information Centre turn left out of car park towards the harbour,at next junction turn right at Waverley Public House, then turn immediately left into Cove Car Park (Adele's Cafe), carry on through the car park (with Harbour & boats on left) for approxamately 500yds to the exit (if you look to your right you will see a parade of very tall houses The Collingdale is located here). You can park your car in Marine Drive Long-stay or Larkstone Long-stay car park and go through the back entrance, or if you continue to drive up to the end of Larkstone Lane and turn right you nay be able to park for free on the street and come in the main entrance.

M5 jct 27. On approaching Barnstaple stay on A361 and follow signs for Ilfracombe. On approaching Ilfracombe at Mullacott Cross roundabout turn right onto the A3123 and follow the signs for the Harbour Long-stay car park. At the bottom of A3230 New Barnstaple Road,you will come to a set of traffic lights-turn right. Immediately there is a parade of tall Victorian houses on the left, The Collingdale is situated towards the end. Parking is on the Terrace or in the Harbour Long-stay at the rear of the property.
